Trying to figure out the angle here…

seems like every other gas station in Lunenburg County has prices in the $1.85 to $1.92 range, except for the Shell and Exxon stations in Kenbridge, even the Supertest is at $1.87ish. I initially thought there was some town ripoff, I mean tax like the meals tax, until I saw the Supertest drop below $2.00, that’s when I realized it wasn’t the town sticking it to us. Can’t be Exxon or Shell, the Exxon and Shell in Blackstone are all below $2.00. So that makes me think it’s the station owners taking advantage of geography. I am willing to pay a little premium for convenien, and keeping it local to support local businesses, but I think a 14% premium is a little out of line.

I’ll keep it local and save some money, and take my business to Parhams on South Hill rd…
